A loan helped to buy more tripe, vegetables, condiments, lemons, etc. to continue selling beef tripe stew.

María Cándida's story

Maria, 60, never had the opportunity to attend school because of a lack of financial resources. She is married, her husband is a bricklayer, and they have two children. One daughter lives with, along with some grandchildren.

Maria learned how to make beef tripe stew from a young age, and now her daughter helps her with this. She sells on Saturdays and Wednesdays, rising at dawn to begin preparations.

Maria needs this loan to buy more tripe, vegetables, condiments, lemons, etc. to continue selling beef tripe stew.

Maria hopes to continue having the strength to run this business and that her daughter can continue to help her.
