A loan helped buy timber to make more furniture so that he can meet his customers' orders.

Musa's story

Meet Musa! He is a husband and father to four children. He lives in the suburbs of Mbale town and owns a furniture making workshop where he makes chairs, tables, shelves and many other furniture specifications. He is the sole breadwinner in the family who goes to great lengths to make sure that the needs of his family are taken care of.

He currently has furniture orders but is constrained with inadequate capital to complete his work. Therefore he requested a loan of 1,500,000 UGX so that he can buy wood to complete his customers' orders. Musa anticipates good proceeds, which he intends to use on his children's school fees.

He is grateful for the support. Musa hopes that in future, he will expand his workshop and also open up a training school.
