Fatoumata's Group's story

This group is made up of eleven women who live in the same village. They share bonds of kinship and friendship. Their main businesses are farming and trade. The group is seeking its second loan.

Aminata, age 61, is a farmer and the featured borrower. She's married and the mother of two children. She intends to use this loan to buy seeds. After the harvest, she sells peanuts. The profits generated by her business enable her to cover the expenses of the family and take care of the children.
