This group was created in March 2010 joining woman who get along well and who make a living raising animals.
Khady, standing on the right in the photo, is 38 years old, married and is the mother of seven children. She is the featured borrower and she has been making a living raising livestock for years. She is also a member of the management of the banc villageois and she is active in this role.
With her new loan she plans to buy a steer which she will fatten and then sell after six months. She will use the rest of the loan to buy animal feed.
With her earnings, she plans to buy another steer and increase her savings with the banc villageois.
