Diakael Group's story

This group was created in March 2010 and is comprised of women who work primarily in commerce and with livestock.

Fatou, the group's representative, can be found to the right of the photo. She is 50 years old, married and the mother of 8 children. She works with animals, fattening and then reselling them. Fatou is very experienced in this business.

With this new loan, she plans to purchase 3 sheep, which she will then fatten up and then resell in 5 months. With the proceeds from her sales, Fatou plans to purchase food and clothing for her family.
