A loan helped to buy more second-hand clothing and local products like rice, beans, and nuts to resell at her store.

Maria's story

This is Maria, a humble and enterprising 42-year-old woman who has lots of knowledge and experience selling second-hand clothing and local products like red and brown rice, beans, and nuts. She has been doing the business since 2015. It is located at a local market and is considered to be a very good place to do this type of business, due to lots of people who always come around to the market looking for second-hand clothing and local food to buy.

Running the business has made Maria become more independent because she can be responsible for herself and also help support her family's every day’s income.

She would like a loan of $1000 USD through KIF to help improve her used clothing and local food business. She plans to use this loan to buy more second-hand clothing and local products like rice, beans, and nuts to resell at her store.

Maria hopes to run a bigger business in the future and wants to thank all the lenders for the opportunity.
