Rosa, 52, is a single mother of one. She lives with her son in the village of Santa Cruz de Yojoa, in Cortés.
Rosa has been growing yucca and plantain for eight years.
She sells the harvests to middlemen in the area.
She also takes care of the household.
Rosa asks ODEF for a loan of 20,000 lempiras in order to buy fertiliser and foliar nutrients in order to protect her crops and increase the harvest.
Thanks to the loan, the quality of the harvest will also improve.
Her goal is to keep growing yucca and plantain.
