Amanecer Palmapampa Group's story

Maribel is a 28 year old single mother. She has a four year old son. Maribel is the president of the "Amanecer Palmapampa" group which is made up of fifteen members.

She is seen as a hard-working and enterprising woman with a lot of desire to get ahead. For 18 years she has been making a living in agriculture, producing plantains, cocoa and other fruit.

She is currently saving to buy agricultural land and increase her production. She wants to improve her quality of living and above-all provide better education for her son. So she is requesting a loan through Kiva in order to apply manure to her cocoa crops to improve production.
