Esther, who is 30 years old and married, lives in the community of Urranche, San Ignacio, Peru. Both she and her husband are dedicated to the organic coffee business. They sell their production through a local cooperative. In addition, they generate additional income by raising small livestock.
Esther will use this loan to purchase manure and to sow new fields of coffee. To gain access to the loan in Norandino, Esther can count on a woman friend who has offered to guarantee it.
