A loan helped buy clothes.

Maria's story

María is a 34 year old young woman. She lives by the side of her life partner and their four children; Jocelyn, 15; Caroline, 12; Alex, 9; and Ken, 6.

She sells clothes to homes. That is to say, she gets orders from her neighbors, friends, and relatives. Later she delivers the clothing to their homes. That is how she gets the necessary income to support her family. María has been doing this work for six years. She is very happy because the work makes her feel independent. Also, it allows her to work on her home, which she is very comfortable doing.

María has thought about the future, and she would like to have a very popular stand in the market. That way she would be able to have greater stability.

This is her first loan with MFP. She has always been very responsible with all of her commitments. She promises not to miss any of her payments. She will use the money she is asking for to buy a larger quantity of clothes to increase her sales.
