A loan helped to stock up on inventory for the winter season so his sewing business will have items to sell even during the cold months.

Bujar's story

Bujar is a 38-year-old member of the vulnerable Roma community. He is married and the happy father of two children. Ten years ago, he and his wife opened for their first sewing business. His wife would sew sheets, blankets, curtains, and other linens, while Bujar would sell them in his van in different markets and villages. Today, Bujar has 4 other women who work for him and 5 sewing machines. Bujar is asking Kiva lenders for support to stock up on inventory for the winter season so he will have items to sell even during the cold months.

"I am very happy with my job, thanks to it I am providing a good life for my family!" said Bujar during the interview. Bujar had to pay for his children's school fees this year, which is why he has no savings to buy the required inventory for the upcoming months.
