A loan helped to invest in seed, fertilizer, and a hired plow in order to grow peas.

Gloria Isabel's story

Gloria is a hardworking 43-year-old smallholder farmer and the mother of four children. She lives with her two young daughters, who are 14 and 9 years of age. Gloria does not want her daughters to go hungry and in need, so she has worked hard to provide them with daily sustenance.

She is applying for a loan of $1,000 to invest in seed, fertilizer, and a rental plow in order to grow peas. This will enable her to improve her income and bring her closer to her dream of owning her own home.
