A loan helped to buy biscuits, noodles, sugar, soap, water, cigarettes, and coffee for her kiosk.

Jonia's story

Jonia is 26 years old, married, and has two children. She has a kiosk that she started in 2017, where many people come to buy goods every day. Running her business has made Jonia independent, because she can be responsible for herself and also help support her family.

She would like a loan of USD 500 from KIF to help improve her kiosk. She plans to use this loan to buy additional supplies, such as biscuits, noodles, sugar, soap, cigarettes, water and coffee for her kiosk.

Jonia hopes to run a bigger business in the future and wants to thank lenders for the opportunity.

By the way, her husband is a farmer, and they have animals such as pigs, chickens and buffalo.

This loan is special because:

It provides entrepreneurs in underserved communities with the means to grow their businesses.
