Ashura's Group's story

Ashura, pictured above, has been a farmer for 10 years. She is now proud to represent her group of 7 farmers in Kilolo North District. She is 32 years old, married and has 3 children.

Ashura likes to think of herself as a very friendly person. She has been working alongside One Acre Fund since 2017 and decided to represent her group because she wanted to help more farmers. She says that being part of the One Acre Fund community means that she will be able to harvest more. Ashura plans to use the profits from this coming season to save more money for the future.

In total, Ashura’s Group will receive farming inputs to cultivate 7 acres of land.

In this group: Ashura, Revonia, Anjela, Jocta, Talkisia, Mariam, Delphina
