Rambaimakashinga Group's story

From selling on the streets, Sekesai has become one of the best suppliers of fresh vegetables and has diversified to broilers rearing. Sekesai is a 36-year-old member of Rambaimakashinga group. She has not only managed to grow in business, but has inspired young ladies to work for their families. The four members derived the Rambaimakashinga name from a phrase "keep on soldiering," which has become their mantra.

Sekesai has three children. Her husband helps her with supplying fresh produce at a local business center. Sekesai has a busy schedule throughout the year with activities like land preparation, seeding, watering and marketing her produce. She grows vegetables, potatoes, green mealies and carrots.
