Lantosoa's story

Lantosoa is a young mother, 27 years old, who has two children. The family lives in the family house. Lantosoa is concerned about her children’s well-being. Her wish is that they might have a better future. For their schooling, she joined VAHATRA to take out loans. This approach helped her to cover the different schooling costs.

Currently, she wants to invest in farming and still has need of loans to pay for the necessary inputs. This time, she wants to grow rice and is asking for the help of lenders to pay for 80 kg of seeds, 50 kg of chemical fertilizer, and 20 cart loads of organic fertilizer. She will sell some of her harvest, and some will be for home consumption. Lantosoa hopes to have the support of lenders. Her plans include building a house of their own.

Lantosoa est une jeune mère de 27 ans. Elle a deux enfants. La famille habite la maison familiale. Lantosoa se soucie du bien-être de ses enfants. Elle désire qu’ils aient un meilleur avenir. Pour leur scolarisation, Lantosoa a rejoint VAHATRA pour prendre des prêts. Cette démarché l’a aidé à payer les différents frais de scolarité. Actuellement, elle veut s’investir dans l’agriculture. Elle a encore besoin de prendre des prêts pour payer les intrants nécessaires. Cette fois, elle veut entreprendre la culture de riz pluvial. Elle demande l’aide des prêteurs pour acheter 80 Kg de semences, 50 Kg d’engrais chimiques et 20 charrettes d’engrais organiques. Elle va vendre une partie de sa récolte et l’autre partie est destinée à la nourriture. Lantosoa espère le soutien des prêteurs. Elle projette de construire une maison propre à sa famille.
