A loan helped to purchase fungicides and fertilizer to grow beans and to be able to keep the crops in good condition.

Pablo German's story

Pablo is 36 years old. He lives in the community of Cahuasqui. He lives with his wife and they are farmers. They have been able to get ahead and maintain healthy crops thanks to his work, constant effort and Kiva loans.

Pablo works hard every day on his own family plot and on leased lands. He is currently growing reed beans and tree tomatoes.

He is asking for a loan to buy fertilizer and fungicides so that he can sell good quality produce by maintaining the health of his crop from planting through harvesting.

For Pablo and his family farming is his source of income and the way that they make a living to get ahead.

Pablo is, again, very thankful to Kiva. With the support of Kiva, he can continue doing something he enjoys and he can maintain his family and provide them a better quality of life.
