A loan helped to invest in buying merchandise wholesale (blouses, pants, flip-flops) and some mannequins for exhibition in his business.

Emidio Jose's story

Emidio is a micro-businessman from the town of Soledad, who owes his career as a merchant to his sister, because he was under her tutelage and guidance for many years. His sister was the owner of a grocery where he worked the morning shift, while getting his high school degree in the afternoon. When he finished his education, he was able to get a job at private companies, but his dream was always to have his own business to have additional income. Emidio started to save his wages, until he was able to invest in merchandise and open his variety store. He works there when it is open at night, and the rest of the week it is under the management of a niece. Right now, he is taking out his first Kiva loan to invest in buy merchandise wholesale (blouses, pants, flip-flops) and some mannequins to exhibit in his business. Support him in his business loan.
