A loan helped a member to buy fertilizer for their rice field.

He Muong 71 Group's story

Thoai is the 25-year-old mother of a daughter who is studying in kindergarten. She lives with her grandfather-in-law, parent-in-law, husband, and daughter in a traditional Thai stilt house in a small village where people mainly work in agricultural production, and her family is not an exception. Indeed, their major source of income is from cultivation, fish breeding, buffalos, pigs, and chickens.

Recently, Mrs. Thoai wanted to expand her farming to ensure enough income for living expenses as well as to cover her daughter's tuition fees. Thus, she has taken out a loan from the Anh Chi Em Program to buy fertilizer for her rice field. She hopes that with the training and counseling about agriculture from the Anh Chi Em Program, she will earn a good income.

Thoai is standing first on the right.
