Flor, 18, is a very cheerful and hard-working young woman. She lives in a rented room with her beloved, 1-year-old son, José, for whom she wants to provide a good life. Flor sells salchipollo (a dish based on pasta, fried potatoes and chicken) and salchipapa (a dish based on fried potatoes and sliced frankfurters. She is a very kind and convincing seller so she has a lot of customers who prefer to buy from her because of the delicious flavor she imparts to her dishes. What she likes most about her work is chatting with her customers. She has been in this line of work for a year and feels that the most difficult thing about is having to put up with the intense cold at night in Juliaca's streets. For later in the future she hopes her business will grow and she can set up an eatery where she can sell her dishes with less stress. This is Flor's first loan with MFP and she expects to be very punctual with her repayments. She is a very respected member of her communal bank because of the level of maturity she exhibits. With the 1000 soles requested she will buy more ingredients as well as new dishes and cutlery to serve her delicious salchipapas and salchimotes (a dish based on fried corn, chicken and sausage).
