A loan helped to purchase sacks of Irish potatoes, cooking oil chairs and tables for her business to grow.

Laurensia's story

Laurensia is 44 years old. She is a single mother of two children who are still in school. She is a food vendor. She sells chips. She has been into this food business for 12 years. She opens her business from 9 a.m to 10 p.m. daily and is happy that she's making a good profit.

This will be Laurensia's second loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loan to buy utensils and Irish potatoes. She used the additional profit to pay her loan dues, cover family needs and reinvest in her business. She is applying for this loan to purchase sacks of Irish potatoes, cooking oil, chairs and tables for her business to grow. Her dream is to open a store to sell Irish potatoes someday.

Laurensia will be responsible for paying back the loan.
