Jenny Jovita's story

Jenny M. is a member of the Picoaza communal bank. The bank is made up of women of all ages. Picoaza is a small town located ten minutes north of Portoviejo in the province of Manabí, in the coastal region of Ecuador. This province is well known for its cuisine, beaches and ceibo trees (unique to the region). It is also a commercial center, with many distributors of agricultural products, consumer goods, clothes, etc.

Jenny is single and has a 5-year-old son named Steven. She has her own house from which she operates her business selling makeup, perfumes, and costume jewelry. She has many regular customers because of the high quality of products she sells.

Jenny seeks a loan to purchase creams, makeup, costume jewelry and all types of cosmetics, to be able to offer her clients more and better products for the Christmas season. Her dream is to continue with her business to maintain her family and, in the future, improve her house.
