Fanny is 61 years of age. She is married and lives with her husband. She has always liked agriculture because she likes to have fresh produce in her home. After retiring, she saw vegetable production as a way to help herself economically and pay the household expenses. With this loan she wants to buy seedbed to increase production since demand has increased considerably because of the quality of her vegetables and how fresh they are.
Fanny is very grateful to Kiva and Fudecosur, as well as to every person who trusted in her project, because seeing her greenhouse production makes her very happy. In addition to making her happy, it is also a great help to her to develop as a female entrepreneur and it allows her — and her husband, who helps her with the project — to get better economically every day.
In the past, she has had other loans from Fudecosur that were to improve the infrastructure of her greenhouse and she has been an excellent client and very responsible with the repayments. She hadn’t had any loans from state banks before, but Fudecosur has provided her with a loan with greater ease and a much lower interest rate.
