Lina's story

Lina is 31 years old. She lives in the town of Patacamaya in the south of the department of La Paz.

She lives with her mother in a home on her farmland where she has made a living from cultivating potatoes as her main crop and also cultivating quinoa for eight years. L

ina works from Monday until Saturday and she sells her products in a local market on market days, generating an income to support her home.

This is the seventh loan that she is accessing with Fundación Sartawi, which will be used to purchase seeds and organic compost to start planting potatoes.
