Sokha Group's story

A widowed mother of four children who lives in Prey Veng province of Cambodia, Mrs. Sokha appears first on the right. She is a farmer and has been cultivating rice for more than twenty years to earn an income to support her family. Being in this business, she can make around 3 US dollars per day.

Since her business is going along well, Sokha is now representing this group of three members to apply for a loan. She would like to use her loan share to pay for additional organic fertilizer and organic pesticide for her rice farming. She hopes lenders will support her in this venture and believes this loan will help improve her finances by increasing her family's income.
