Homyna's story

I spent my formative years in Washington DC until my older brothers' death resulted in my parents divorce and a move to a tiny northern Michigan town of 5000 year round residents where my mom took care of my younger brother and I by working at Taco Bell and starting her own cleaning business. I was deeply unsatisfied by northern Michigan life and when I was 19 I got on a greyhound bus, headed out west and I've been on my own since. At thirty three years old, I currently split my time between Fairbanks and Anchorage (I drive 800 miles a week for Tundra Tonics). I'm ready to take a stand for the things I believe about health, food, identity, and hope that Tundra Tonics can be somewhat of a platform to demonstrate that lgbt people don't have to ask for permission to exist AND succeed. It's also a demonstration of an ethical business model based on sincere relationships with customers. Eventually I dream of having a property that incorporates ecological sustainability practices like permaculture design and some food/herb production. I dream of being able to help others by enabling them to get through their own financial barriers one day.
