Tomitila's story

Tomitila is 53 years old. She's the mother of two children.

She's currently running a business of weaving that was mainly financed by a loan that she took. She used her loan to buy some more materials such as pandanus for her to be able to provide some more productivity and to sell for more income. Tomitila weaves mats and ta'ovala (a Tongan dress). She can earn weekly and also monthly for her long term weaving.

Her business is running smoothly, the only challenges that she faces is lack of funds to purchase more materials for her business. Tomitila is confidently running her business so that it will be able to earn some more income for her family and to help pay back her loan.

She has a vision to have a profitable business in order for her to earn more funds to renovate their house.
