A loan helped to finance buying an ice-crushing machine for Samloth's sugarcane juice business.


Samloth's story

Samloth, 23, is a married mother of three children who lives in the Kampong Chhnang province of Cambodia. She and her husband have been selling sugarcane juice and other groceries since 2015. They earn around 25 USD a day.

In order to expand her business, Samloth is now asking for a 6,000,000 KHR loan through Kiva's field partner KREDIT to finance buying an ice-crushing machine for her business. She anticipates seeing an increase in her family’s profits.
