Mkongoni Group's story

Severestina is in her early 50s; she is a married mother of four children, two boys and two girls, who are independent. She is in the agriculture sector, where she has cows for milk and layer chickens for eggs. She has been in this business for 30 years. She normally works in her sheds starting at 6 in the morning and closes at 6 in the evening. Her business is doing well; she increased her supply of milk and eggs and she earns profit.

This will be Severestina's sixth loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loans to add more chickens and she earned profit that she used to buy chicken feeds and new products. She repaid the loan on time. She is applying for this loan to buy chicken feeds, medicine for her cows, vitamins, buckets for holding milk and plastic trays for eggs. Her dream is to be good with pasture.

Severestina will share a portion of this loan with her loan group members of "Mkongoni".
