Pon Group's story

Pon, 35, is a married mother of two children; the family lives in Tbong Khmum Province of Cambodia. She works with her husband to support the family. They have had a cassava and rubber farm since 2009, and typically earn around 16US$ per day.

Pon appears here on the right and represents her group partner and herself in this request for a loan through Kiva's field partner KREDIT.

She will use her share of the loan to pay to rent one hectare of farmland on which to grow cassava.

This loan will add a new source of income that will result in better living standards for Pon’s family.
