Puataisia's story

Puataisia is 53 years old. She is a single mother to 10 children. She's currently operating 2 businesses, selling handicrafts and second hand clothing. In her handicraft business, she uses her talent to make different Tongan. Her businesses is mainly financed by her loan.

Puataisia used to operate her business at the local market.
Sometimes she's helped by her children, but most of the time she's the only one working in both of her businesses.

Puataisia faces a challenge with her transportation. At the moment they don't have a vehicle, so she usually takes the bus. This makes her lose some of her customers because she's late when the bus dose not arrive on time.

Puataisia's vision is to be able to build a handicraft store of her own where sell her products. This will allow her to give her children a more comfortable life than her own.
