Kỳ's story

Kỳ is 55 years old and single. He lives in Thach Thanh District, a mountainous area in Thanh Hoa Province.

Kỳ works in agriculture and has been farming food crops for more than 10 years. His family is a low-income household in the area and his job is unstable.

One of his most critical difficulties is not having clean water to use. However, his income is not enough to obtain a new water system. Kỳ is requesting a loan to purchase sand, cement, bricks, and equipment so that he can install a clean water system. This is Kỳ’s first loan with Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution.

With his business profit, Kỳ hopes for his children to find a good job, for his family to be healthy and happy, and for his business to do well.
