A loan helped to buy farm inputs such as high quality seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizer to expand her horticulture farm.

Rose's story

To Rose, farming is not only a skill, it is a hobby. She learned agriculture from her parents, and mastered various farming skills. She feels proud to own a big maize farm and a garden where she plants vegetables. She also raises dairy cattle, goats and poultry.

For more than 10 years now, her source of livelihood has been farming. She feels accomplished, having sent all her children to school using the proceeds that she gets from farming. Her entrepreneurial skills and her knowledge in sales are unquestionable. She also has an a Grovet shop (pictured in her shop).

Although Rose has been earning some income from her farm, not everything has been easy for this enterprising woman. Her farm’s produce has been reduced due to a lack of fertilizer and failure to use herbicides and pesticides.

For this reason, Rose is seeking a loan of KES 100,000 to buy farm inputs, such as high quality seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizer to expand her horticulture farm.

Through this loan, Rose will be assured of a bumper harvest, which will mean more profits and income. Using this loan, she will be able to expand her enterprise.

Rose hopes you will consider her request for this loan. It will change her life and help her achieve her dreams.

This loan is special because:
