Hussein Al Ali Maysaloun Group consists of three hardworking Syrian refugees.

Saadieh is the featured borrower of this group.

Saadieh is a 25-year-old married Syrian refugee, and a mother of one child. She runs her own tailoring business through which she helps her husband, who works in agriculture field, in covering their increasing living expenses.

She joined together with the other group members to acquire a Syrian refugee loan product from Kiva’s field partner, Al Majmoua, because all the group members are working hard to cover their family’s daily living expenses.

Her loan share will be used to buy a new, updated sewing machine to improve her business.
