A loan helped to invest in the repair of the oven where she fires the comales (clay griddles) that she sells.

Sara Elizabeth's story

Sara is 24 years old and studied until high school. She is single and lives with her parents and two sisters.

Sara makes comales (clay cooking griddles). She learned how to make comales from her parents and she has been making these beautiful handcrafted works for ten years.

She makes her goods in her house and goes to sell them in the city center, although her clients occasionally come to buy them at her house. Her sisters help her with the business.

Sara will use this loan to invest in the repair of the oven where she fires the comales that she sells. She dreams of having a business where she not only sells comales but also sells other clay products that her clients already request.
