A loan helped a member to increase her planting of cacao.

Nuevo Paraiso Group's story

Yuliza is 19 years old and a single mother of two young sons, ages 4 and 8 months. She lives at her parents’ house. Yuliza was not able to finish her studies, so she works on a farm. She has a small plot of land where she has been working for the past three years. Yuliza works from 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. In the evenings, she devotes her time to looking after her children.

Yuliza is grateful to her parents for their unconditional support, not only for her, but also for her children. She is requesting a loan from Kiva so that she can increase her planting of cacao. In her free time, she works on other farms during the harvest season so that she can cover her expenses.

Her greatest wish is to help her children get ahead. She wants to save for them so that they can pursue a profession and help provide her parents a better quality of life. Yuliza considers herself to be a determined and enterprising woman. She enjoys working day and night in order to meet her goals.

Yuliza is a member of the group “Nuevo Paraíso” (New Paradise), which consists of 12 members. Please support them.

In this group: Elias, Ruben Vergilio, Yovana, Alfredo Enrique, Yolanda, Lirquia Jholy, Silvia, German, Yuliza, Surmabel, Gloria, Abraham
