This is Katenga Turibamwe Group located in Mitooma district. It consists of members who engage in different economic activities to create wealth. Jovva is an old client of UGAFODE. She is 46 years old and married with six children, four of which attend school. She carries out farming, mainly banana growing and goat rearing, as her main source of income since 2005. This is her tenth loan from the institution through the group.
She intends to use the loan to buy fertilizers for her banana plantation so as to improve the quality and quantity of her farm yields. Jovva is hopeful that she will harvest good yields which will be sold at good prices, thus increasing her income. She is grateful for the continuous support from UGAFODE. Jovva is described as a hardworking woman by her colleagues.
