A loan helped to buy fabrics and wool to support her embroidery business and increase her income.

Itab's story

Itab is a Syrian married lady, who is 22 years old and has a little daughter. She lives with her modest family in an owned apartment located in Mount Lebanon. She is working in embroidery.

She got what she wanted from the first and second loan. Those loans developed her business and improved her social life. She plans to expand her customer base in order to increase the level of her profits and to secure a good life for her daughter.

For the third time, Itab is asking for a new loan from Ibdaa, a Kiva partner. She requested this loan to purchase fabrics and wool for her home based business in order to support her business and increase her income. Itab wants to offer her customers a wider variety of products.

In the future, she would like to provide other women with the opportunity to do this kind of work. The income from this loan will allow her to improve her business and help her to become a successful young woman. She has moral encouragement and support from her family, and now she needs financial support.

Itab is confident that she will be successful because once she decides to something, she does it. Itab is loved by her customers and neighbors due to her morals. She thanks you for your support!

This loan is special because:

It doesn’t require a guarantor, reaching underserved women in Lebanon.
