María is a humble, farming woman. She lives with her life partner in the community of San Geronimo, in the parish of La Carolina. She is 47 years old.
From a very young age, and with her first husband, she has worked in agriculture, growing vegetables. This job has allowed her to support her family and provide a life of dignity to herself, her spouse, and her children.
Currently she works growing peppers in a small farm. She sells the peppers locally. Her spouse helps her a good deal in her work. They have great plans together, and the loan she is receiving will be a big help, as it will allow her to acquire supplies to grow peppers.
She really likes her job because it allows her and her spouse to be together, and to work close to home, in her own business. María and her family would be very grateful for the support of a Kiva loan.
