Madi's story

Madi is a 32-year-old married woman hailing from the Jhabua district in Madhya Pradesh. She has a household size of two people and a monthly household income of INR 12,000.

Madi is engaged in a dairy business where she sells buffalo milk and other dairy products such as butter, curd, buttermilk, and ghee.

To expand this business and increase her income, she has applied for a loan of INR 20,000 from Milaap's field partner Prayas. With the amount, she can purchase a new buffalo and sell more dairy products.
