Melva, 60, lives in the village of Alto Tambillo, a small community of coffee producers on the outskirts of the province of San Ignacio, Peru. Her parents taught her agricultural labor when she was a little girl. Melva lives with her three children.
Melva supports herself with her own parcel of 2.5 hectares of coffee, of excellent quality and good taste, that she sells to a cooperative in her area. Melva dreams of expanding her coffee field to provide her family with better living conditions.
The loan will allow her to increase productivity and manage her farm properly with the opportune completion of agricultural tasks.
Thanks to Coopac Norandino she already has two years of experience in the use of loans, being very responsible with her payments, and she's grateful because they're contributing to her progress.
