A loan helped to pay for her kids' school fees so they can get a good education.

Iman's story

Greetings from a loyal mother named Iman! She is 31 years old, a Syrian married woman who left her country and came to Lebanon searching for better living conditions for her two small kids, who are attending school now. She lives with her modest family in an owned apartment located in Mount Lebanon. Her husband works repairing cars earning a limited income. While she established her own business 15 years ago at home, she started working in tailoring in order to improve her standard of living and to secure a good life for her kids.

For the first time, Iman is asking for a loan from IBDAA, a Kiva partner. She requested this loan to pay for her kids' school fees so they can get a good education and high-paying job in the future. Besides, Iman is trying to improve her social and financial position by growing her business from normal into a sophisticated level.

Iman is an ambitious, humble and energetic woman full of hope and good manners. This loyal woman has an amazing reputation among customers.

This loan is special because:

It doesn’t require a guarantor, reaching underserved women in Lebanon.
