A loan helped a member to add more stock of dried fish, Irish potatoes, cooking oils, tomatoes, onions, and cabbages for making salad for her chips business.


Maendeleo Mbagala Group's story

Rukia is 38 years old. She is married and blessed with four children who are still in school. She has a food market where she sells dried fish and chips. She has been in this businesses for three years. She usually works from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Her business is doing well and she earns a good profit.

This will be Rukia's first loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. She is applying for this loan to add more stock of dried fish, Irish potatoes, cooking oils, tomatoes, onions, and cabbages for making salad for her chips business. Her dreams is to establish many other businesses in the near future.

Rukia will share a portion of this loan with her loan group, members of "Maendeleo" Mbagala.
