A loan helped a member to purchase organic fertilizer and agriculture materials for growing.

Phary Group's story

As a resident in a village of Kratie province of Cambodia, Phary, 36, is a married mother of three school aged children. She is a farmer and has been working on the rice farm to make profits to support a living for the past 20 years, while her husband is a seller.

Phary appears on the right in the photo and is representing the group of three members. She is going to use her loan share to purchase organic fertilizer and agriculture materials for growing. She says this purchase will allow her to increase her crop yields as well as her family profits.

With the profits from this season’s harvest, Phary wants to expand her farmland, build a bigger house, and help her children’s studies.
