Sa Bay(West)(2)B Village Group's story

42-year-old Thein, on the far left, is a farmer who grows sesame, bamboo, and pigeon peas on the 15 acres of farmland he inherited from his ancestors. Thein is married with three young children to look after. Thein also has a grocery store which his wife helps him run.

Thein plans to use this loan to hire laborers and to buy fertilizer to grow more crops for a bigger income.

The members of the group are all farmers in Pakokku Township and are very grateful for this loan.
