Thi is 31 years old and she lives with her husband, along with their three children aged four, six, and eight. They are a Thai minority and live in a poor and remote area. Thi has been a farmer since she was a child. Presently, she works in agricultural production, including cultivating rice and coffee, and raising chickens and pigs. Her main difficulties are lack of capital and having to sell at cheap prices because of trader’s pressure.
Growing coffee has brought high profits for her business, so in this loan cycle of Anh Chi Em Program, she wants to use the loan to buy fertilizer for coffee trees. She hopes that through her ACE loan and training, she could improve her income and manage her business better, so that she could expand her business and send her children to a good university.
