Bahati's story

Bahati is an incredibly kind and serious business woman. A few years ago, Bahati noticed a need in her community; there were many people, specifically working professionals, who wanted a fast and convenient place to eat on their lunch break. In 2015, Bahati opened a restaurant with $50 and 4 employees, and quickly grew her business to a popular lunch spot and catering company. These days, Bahati serves about 100 regular customers per week and provides regular catering services to more than 10 large clients.

The only thing that's different about Bahati and her business is that she is a Congolese refugee, and her business is located inside a refugee camp. Bahati is known widely within her community, and she has a great reputation for providing high-quality, affordable food.

Bahati needs a loan to expand her business, as she isn't able to meet her current demand with her limited supplies. Not only will this support help Bahati grow her business and employ more people, but it will also help her generate more income to feed her own family.
