Thoan, 33, is Thai ethnic woman who lives with her husband, her 13-year-old son, and her 3-year-old son in Vietnam Northwest mountain. In keeping with family tradition she is in the agricultural production business, which is the main activity through which her family earns money. Thoan and her husband said that they had to face a lot of difficulties in farming, such as lack of capital and animal diseases (especially chicken). They always made efforts to increase the productivity and quality of their agricultural products.
This is the seventh time she has taken a loan from Anh Chi Em to buy a cow. She hopes that cow will grow up healthy, faster, and give her baby cows for selling next year.
With the profit, she can save to repair her house and pay her children’s education fee. She wishes that her family will always be filled by warmth and happiness. In the picture, she stands at the first from the right.
