A loan helped a member to buy fertilizer and hire laborers to help her on her farm.


Kan Zee-2C Village Group C's story

33-year-old Chit, second from the right, is the featured borrower of this group. She lives in a village in the dry zone of Myanmar named Kan Zee, which is located in Monywa Township. She is farmer who is married and lives with her family. She puts all her efforts into farming as it is her family's main source of income.

Chit will use this loan to buy good fertilizer so her crops can grow to be healthy and desirable in the market. If there is extra money she will use it to hire laborers who will assist her in reaping the crops during the harvest.
