A loan helped a member to buy fertilisers, seeds and chemicals so that her business might improve.

Perfect Group's story

Judith is into horticulture. She is well known for her usual walk each day in the morning with her gardening equipment and late in the afternoon, going back to her residence with the satisfaction of accomplishment.

Judith has been in the gardening business for the past five years. She made this decision to meet halfway on the household expenses with her husband who is always in South Africa doing some menial jobs. Judith sells her vegetables at Chikwanha where she has become popular for bringing fresh vegetables to the market.

She is the 34-year-old mother of two; her children are attending primary and secondary school. Judith got a loan of $250 to buy fertilisers, seeds and chemicals so that her business might improve. Members of the group attended formal training on savings and they are starting their own savings club so that they can save their money more effectively.
